Les,

One thing that really bothers me is that these
endless humanitarian missions are starting to
really drain our resources, sap the strength
of those in uniform, and weaken our foreign
policy abroad. We have been pinned down all
over the world. Furthermore, there are about
40 or 50 more "crisis" that we could respond
to right now if Clinton really wanted to turn
the United States military into a humanitarian
aid group. I can certainly see the purpose of
fighting wars with everything we have if the
goal is for national security or interest. But
these humanitarian wars are just absurd.
