LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 19, 1999--WOW!! Blossom Technologies Corp., a leading worldwide manufacturer of video products, introduces a new category of video devices, the Personal Video Assistant, PVA 2000(tm). The set-top device is a multi-function personal video system. The product is being shown to the public for the first time at NAB99 (the National Association of Broadcasters Conventions Booth S7244).

The PVA 2000 has a retail price of $2995.00 is available from selected video dealers and high-end video resellers.

"The PVA 2000 is the first product that bridges the gaps between video, television, the internet, HDTV and the future," said Alex Amor, President of Blossom Technologies Corp. "The PVA 2000 will change how we perceive television and video."

PVA 2000 is a "VCR-looking" device that is designed to fit into any home entertainment console. Out of the box the PVA 2000 is a personal digital video editing system and iDVR. The PVA 2000 features a home-friendly graphical user interface. User can add Hollywood-like special effects, transitions and titles to their home video in just seconds. Even more amazing is the broadcast quality of the video created on the PVA 2000.

The PVA 2000 also features digital disk recording. The PVA 2000 can be instructed to record programs just like a VCR. Unlike a VCR the unit can capture video without any quality loss. Intelligent video monitoring allows skipping commercials, almost instantaneous movement to any part of the program, fast and slow motion and more. With the optional iSurf module the unit can search for particular television programs or even download program for on demand playback.

The unit can be expanded to accomplish a large number of video roles; this includes the iDVD player module, iSat module, the iSurf (Internet Surfer), iSEE digital image transmitter and much more.

"I have foreseen the future and it's in front of me," said noted futurist, Lawrence Eddleback. "I would have never dreamed that a device like the PVA 2000 would overshadow personal computers so early in the new millennium. It is easy to use, flexible and yet so powerful. It combines the best of all media."

"The PVA 2000 replaces my VCR, computer, answering machine, DVD player, my fax machine and my security system" said consumer tester Jeffrey Rogers. "On top of this I get the easiest editing system in the world."
