John, excellent points. The comparison with Dell is, I think, apt. But the dissimilarities in the situations-- which you have noted -- are striking. Dell went from a high of 110 to a low of about 72. And this was on confirmation that Niles was right. Here we are getting clocked in EMC a comparable percentage, and the company has refuted the claims. This makes me think that it IS all just selling tech holdings by fundumbs. Nevertheless, my faith is shaken. To see 27 points go in a week is awesome. And, I have to say, the chart looked toppy just before the plunge! But I was determined that EMC would be the one I would hold and try not to trade. Well........

John, re:<< ...Since EMC had some bad news associated with it...>> What is the bad news...guess I missed it. I saw the press release, and it seemed like good news. What's going on?

TIA
