Glad to have you join the fun and we were merely waiting for you to arrive. The bit about Baal has some doubtful antecedents, despite the similarities in name and the connotation of fertility, so I left it out.

As for the May Pole, but, of course, we shall dance around our phallic symbol! And think, we have days ahead to get into the mood....

This May party idea has some merit. Maybe I could invite a bunch of people over, uncork some wine, and get everyone to build a bonfire. This would be a great way to get the sticks picked off my lawn. The Commander hates yard work, so I do it. Maybe I could get out of doing it with this 'Tom Sawyer' idea.
