Crace, Good comment. I would not say this company would go to zero in the worst situation. The only question is if this company can pay off huge, if not, it can pay off nicely. A company can only fail if its business model is premature for the market, such as the case of PointCast. In order to use PointCast, you must have broadband, at the time PointCast started, there is no broadband in sight. ATHM is at the right time and the right place with the best broadband technology. I can't vision ATHM not pay off at all with its near monopoly in the cable industry. Among all .com stocks, I feel ATHM is one of the safest considering the barrier to entry and the near monopoly status. It's near because there is Road Runner. What if Road Runner to combine with ATHM? The picture will get better. The barrier to entry is so huge that even AOL went to Congress to cry.

Expect to see ATHM at 250 soon.

This is a cycle set up to manipulate stock prices on the companies creating future communication standards. @Home is one of these companies and will be leader. Consider sinking prices a chance to accumulate.

****OT**** Why all the quietness?

Hi Grace and Gang- I had noticed that there was an eeriness to the thread after the lackluster week for @Home and other Internet related stocks. For once, I didn't have anything to say. I think I was a little shell shocked like the Yugoslavs. I am as pleased as Bretsky that the week is finally over!

I had a relaxing day in the wood turkey hunting with one of my students. Although we were unsuccessful (because of that damn black cat that darted in front of my pickup), we did enjoy God's beautiful outdoors. I am refreshed and ready for an upbeat week for ATHM!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, All!

P.S. My wife knows about her Dell. I remember that day well. We were at the Muscatine McDonalds. The rugrat was playing on the equipment. She asked how Dell was doing. I damn near choked on a French fry. It must have been that slight hesitation that caused her to proceed with the interrogation. "You sold my Dell, didn't you?" She asked. I very calmly replied, "Yes, Dear." "You bought more ATHM, didn't you?" "Yes," I again replied. "My God!" She exclaimed. "How many shares of that company do you own?!!!!" She questioned. "Not enough," I answered.

Fortunately, at last count, I still have all my body parts.

Ed

So Grace, how much of your portfolio are you willing to put into ATHM?
