carolyn, i think they're up to communicator4.52, but i'm not sure. i have 4.5 and i know they just released 4.51 about a month ago. i'm running so sweet that i have no reason to change. and when i checked the release notes for 4.51, it didn't look that much better. from what i've seen, it's not problematic to go from 4.04 to 4.5 or higher. there are plenty of instructions and notes to read to guide you through the upgrade successfully, and lots of good support available if something screws up. you didn't say why you want to upgrade, but there are enough cool improvements to justify making the move even without a prob, imo. don't overlook this site, carolyn. ufaq.org it's loaded with great skinny. :) mark
