Not every one likes the idea of reducing the cost. The cost is their livelihood, such as real estate commission, car dealers' commission and Wal-Mart's cut by displaying the product in their stores. That's why traditional merchants are at risk, they may be out of job 10 years from now. So they are crying "eBay must die...". In the old discipline, the cost is gold. In the new discipline, eBay's going to destroy the chain of Manufacturer-Distributors-Whole saler-Retailer. I am afraid to imagine what the future will look like. But one thing is certain, a lot of people will become jobless if they don't adapt fast. This can be a terrible future.
