Hello Doug : Trying to understand the Lords guidance is probably the most sought after commodity in the realm of Christiandom. I was reading in the 4th chap of Revelation today and how the throne of God has set before it the sea of crystal and how the 24 elders, fall on their faces worshiping God and actually throw their crowns down before Him, and the 4 beasts with the faces , one of a man, one of a calf, one of an eagle, and one of a lion in and about His throne. Actually these are angels of a higher order, not seraphim or ordinary angels. But in the midst of all this as God told Moses, take off your shoes you are on Holy ground. He invites us to make ourselves at home, be comfortable, where else do we talk off our shoes but at home. We are not told to do this out of a demand to be reverant, or show respect. In this same chapter we are told of the 7 spirits of God. What might they be ? Whom am I to say ? But I can take a good try at it. The seven spirits of God. 1. Hospitality. 2. Anticipation. 3. Encouragement. 4. Holiness. 5. Wisdom. 6. Praise. 7. Worship. All I know is that in a good church service you can find all of the above; and that can be said about being in the presence of the Almighty also.
