Being from the" Peter Lynch" school of investing,(buy what you know), I own it (AOL) because I'm addicted to the power and potential of the internet. Aol provides easy access to the net,(I also have Mindspring as a dialup isp, and it's not nearly as easy as AOl to install and logon with). I think there are many others like me. In fact I've contaminated and "hooked" some other former techno phobics. One old codger type, is logged on to AOl as soon as he gets up. Used to be he scorned the whole concept! I taught him and now he's hooked. How's that for potential!!!? And I watch the various ta's and commentators who seem genuinely objective on internet potential and adjust accordingly.
