ed, and others - it's probably best to take political discussions to the PM mode.

OT: ed - there is no sense in discussing this, as your arguments are too primitive. Milosevic started ethnic cleansing Kosovo even during negotiations, BEFORE the war started (and BTW, he committed mass murder and ethnic cleansing in Bosnia when Nato wasn't anywhere near - I say *too bad* - maybe if Nato took care of this earlier, we wouldn't have this problem today in Kosovo). You see, Milosevic took the opportunity to do what he was going to do anyway - he just used the Nato attack as an excuse.

Something similiar happened in WWII - when Hitler started losing the war, he killed the Jews in concentration camps faster, so he could finish before he was defeated. But he was killing them for years anyway - *before* the allies attacked him. He would have killed them anyway. Same with Milosevic - he would be doing what he is doing anyway. That simply means you should stop Hitler and Milosevic type guys BEFORE they do too much damage. You say negotiate. Yes, that's a good idea. But there are criminal regimes with whom you CANNOT negotiate. Some people you cannot negotiate with. They tried negotiating with Milosevic - he simply refused, and started ethnic cleansing while negotiating. What do you do, if someone REFUSES to negotiate in good faith? Also don't forget - we negotiated with Hitler in Munich - and look what happened. He simply took, took, took, and broke his agreements, and started a war. Had allies attacked him immediately, WWII could be avoided, and 50 million people wouldn't be killed. The same with Milosevic - if allies attacked him when he first made war on Croatia and Bosnia - tens of thousands of poeple would still be alive.

Ed, I'm not going to carry this argument further, because you are too primitive - I already found that from most of your posts. And this is the wrong forum. But your dumb arguments had to be given one reply.
