The list of oxymorons is growing rapidly. The
words of George Orwell really spring to mind.
This latest "conflict" as Clinton likes to call
it, has really produced some amazing language.

How about the "peace keepers" that were destroying
train tracks in Montenegro?

How about the "degradation" of air defenses?

I always liked "collateral damage". In fact, I
just wrote two letters to the editor about the use
of language to make what we are doing more palatable.
