IATV <<<I fear they will be disappointed by a rerun of the Liberty Media news... >>>
Do you really think IATV would have put out an advisory statement saying they want to detail "material events" including the Liberty deal and discuss new developments in their web TV system if they were only going to outline the Liberty deal. The increase of Liberty's stake in the company has already been put out in an official release. I expect them to detail what they are going to do with the alliance. Also to discuss the success of their technology for the convergence of TV and the Web. It would be a plus if they hinted that they have deals lined up with other players, such as ATHM. The best thing they could do is "suggest" that they have other deals to be announced shortly. Then the speculation could drive the price crazy. If they lay all their cards on the table, they better have a good hand. Otherwise it might sell off some. But I think it will still see an overall increase for the day. The way I see it, the rest of the week could produce a much bigger increase. Some people are afraid of a sell-off after the news. Once that fear is over and people realize what this company has and other factors are still around (CNBC spot and National Broadcasting convention)investors will flock into this stock.
