You posted someone else's opinion to back up your opinion as "fact." Referring to posts in which certain idiots happen to agree with you is not proof, sorry. Actually finding brokerages in which you could do it... now that would be proof. Your posters assured everyone that "shorting offshore can be done," but nobody ever can do anything better than "a cousin of a friend of mine heard it was true" type posts. They can't name even one broker who can do it, although they always claim this practice is "widespread." If you can find even one broker in Canada who will do it, I'll believe your clownish logic. I'm sure many have web sites at which we could easily check it out, right? Hint: this is the point where you get really enraged and refuse to come up with the names of any brokers because they don't exist.
