It's actually pretty amusing. They do not know who they are dealing with, obviously. Sun Tsu says one of the most grave errors one can make in a battle is to underestimate his enemy. It reminds me of the study (true story) that the Post Office commissioned to have done by a bunch of psychologists to try and pin down the exact traits of postal employees that could potentially go psychotic and open fire (the source of the Valley Slang Term 'going postal') ...so the Post Office could then use this evaluation to do what?
