Dan! DSL, ain't it just grand? And to think, you are probably saving an hour or two of your waking time each week. One hour a week is about like an extra week of vacation each year.

Now, about BrowseMaster. If you want to save still another hour each week, just do it. Go to BrowseMaster.com and download it. Then put the BM icon into your StartUp folder in Win(98) or (95) and each time you turn on the computer, it will automatically go directly to your SI home page. I suppose there is a way to go directly to this thread, too. Just have to figure it all out.

browsemaster.com There is also a thread on SI.

Good luck, Dan.

Dennis

Well, I don't think you should disparage cheap rum. Bandwidth and drink are much alike.... too much is almost enough.

congrats, I look forward to dsl in my area!

Dan,
Would be interested to know your experience with DSL after you've had it for a few days. I've had it for a few months and while it is most certainly faster than a dial up modem, I've found that when the net is crowded, i.e., SI on hot market days, my DSL can provide average access speed at best. All depends on the server at the other end and the number of net users at the site. Let us know what your experience proves to be.
