Thanks Eric for your helpful info - I'm hoping July is different

Web's belief that AAPL's share price recovery will make them regret their sales is justice worth waiting for.

AAPL's product recovery is satisfying and 3 Q should bring Web's share recovery/appreciation .

Suitably the Board's Compensation Committee probably has addressed any loopholes which could de-rail the stock's recovery .

Selfish executive behavior when it continues unchecked brings bad results for the shareholders and employees (eg: PSFT's Zecks plan to sell a building to shareholders).

I skipped the Insider's option exercise accounting costs because payroll with bonuses are also executive credits , but tenure with NeXT is not a AAPL shareholder's burden.

I read Vicker's Insider report yesterday along with the EDGAR's and they must raise questions for any interested buy side analyst . Plus concern that the acquired millions has dampened ambition .

Hopefully AAPL's Board's commitment to promoting shareholder value still exists .

Thanks again and best regards,
Jim K.

Eric, when options vest, employees typically have the right but not the obligation to purchase the shares for 10 yrs. Don't know if this is necessarily the period Apple uses, but my point is Cook didn't have to exercise his options in Feb. or forego his right to do so at a later time. While it may seem sensible to diversify, you have to figure he wouldn't do so if he thought the company's business was clearly going to scream in the near term ...

I'm reminded of the story about Steve Ballmer -- when he got hired by Bill, he BORROWED $50 million so he could buy even more msft stock than his options gave him rights to -- he was that confident of the company's future.
