I listened to the RealAudio interview with Clement Lau at cashcowmag.com last night.
(Takes about 3-4 minutes to download at 28.8 kbs--the interview itself is about 6 minutes long)
Took some notes to post here but would suggest that anyone interested go to the site and listen for themselves.

Clement Lau, the CEO, has his own company and been involved in internet development for 3 years. His experience comes in website management, CD ROMS, and Computer Based Training. The other officers of the company have somewhat similar backgrounds. Clement has been working on the e-commerce idea for COOL for 2 years.

He wants the website to be easy to use and "fun". Visitors will be able to get to a product quickly through a well organized web design. There will be site components for different age groups ranging from children to adults. Kids can go to site and play games; adults can go to site and use research data bases; others can go for the celebrity interviews/chat or free email. The site will become an entertainment event on its own by encouraging socialization and interaction among its site visitors. Certainly consumers can buy product as well!
The company has a revenue projection of 0.15% of total media business in North America during the first full year of operation. This equates to $5.4 million. Clement stressed that it will be service oriented. Customers will get three day service and be able to track their product purchases. They can avail themselves of cumulative based discounts and even pre-book (ie. order a product even before its official release).
