Good one Bobby... I unwittingly started the CNBC discussion... I agree on many points you posted... the uninitiated however can really get caught up and make decisions based on the broadcast alone... from your post I gather that you've learned to read btwn the anchor's lips and use the information pro or con to benefit your trading, and use the media momentum to strategize entry and exits. Most of us have also done the same... with varying degree of success of course... it takes a little experience to do that... and the tuition for that experience can be hefty. Since Jenna have done her very best to make this a trading/learning thread (not a cut-throat and obnoxious thread like some) and since we have a percentage of traders here in the learning stage... we try to help out by pointing what to some are obvious (like Ron Fairly to Dave Niehaus <g>)... since the simplest thing that comes almost second nature to the veteran trader is new and confusing to the novice.

Regards,
SF

PS: I was a WAVO victim also... but not IDID where I got out with the full price of 1 3/4 from 3/16 on 25k shares (while Joe and Neil Cavuto were still trying to figure out what IDID was), but that's beside the point... the point is it took me a long time to get here, I wish I had someone like Jenna in my learning stage to guide me... instead of having others hype and mislead a small fortune from me. It does not have to be a cut-throat world to make profits...

SF: Nice respone to Sleepless Bobby. Yes, the CNBC'ers provide timely news and interviews. I think Mark, Joe, David and Ron are terrific. But their perspective is not helpful (I've found) to traders. I've been trading for a few decades, but I sense that the CNBC'ers non-trading posture can be a real problem for novice traders. I think your posts are extraordinary. Keep 'em coming.
