Some further information about GLE:

1) They won the Canadian Export Award for 1998.

2) They became a world leader in manufacturing and sales of generators that use heat to directly produce electrical power since starting the company in 1975.

3) They became a truly "global" company, with 70% of revenues generated outside of Canada, with offices in Canada, the U.S.A. and China. Thermoelectric generator orders were made in India, China, Argentina, Thailand and Brazil. Total international sales were almost double the level recorded in th prior year. Sales of generators into the U.S. and Canada were up by 45% last year.

4) In July 1997, they signed a fuel cell agreement with Forschungszentrum Julich, one of the largest research institutes in Germany. This institute is one of the world's leading authorities on solid oxide fuel cells.

5) To accelerate the fuel cell program, they leased an additional 6,300 square feet of office and lab space in Calgary.

6) Fiscal year ending March 31, 1998 was the best year ever recorded by Global, with revenue up by 69 percent from the prior year.

7) Net income was more than triple the 1997 amount.

And what also impresses me about the company is that they kept this major news quiet enough that the entire market was surprised, i.e., this did NOT leak out which I am amazed at. (Damn I hate those reputable companies with high standards!)

Just like you I am only trying to find out the facts.

One thing I have learned being a ballard investor is that the stock price moves when you least expect it, and when you think its going to it doesnt.

People will be trying to move this stock both ways in order to benefit themselves. I just want to be making the right call here.
