KYC= Know your client. everytime you place an order with a brokerage through an automated facility, they check the order manually to determine if the order fits your "risk profile"! All orders must be checked manually. It takes about 15 seconds per order. However, in a fast market the "que" can build quickly resulting in 14 minute delays in processing the order.
