Hanlon beat you to by several centuries:

A related rule, which can be used to slice open conspiracy theories, is Hanlon's Razor: ''Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity''.

However, I still don't think that people who have the money to throw around as indicated by the size of some of Friday's trades, are all that stupid.

Robert,

The move is due to rumours that AOL will offer Cyrix CPU's bundled with internet sevice.

In fact Prodigy is already doing this for $39.95/mo and a 2 year committment you get a 233 machine-I believe.

They offer options all the way to AMD/Celeron 400's in the 60-70/mo range.

There have also been rumours of an AOL webpad type of device and also a non windows pc based on Java.

Cyrix's GX products are clearly well positioned to dominate the "free" pc or net pc space.

I think the stock can pop some more if the rumours all come out to be true.

I am just not sold on the great potential of selling 5Mpcs/yr at a $10 profit to move the stock on a long term basis.

Regards,

Kash
