>"Sorry" is not enough. Someone will have to pay.< That's the fact, Jack. It's refreshing to see that some Serbs understand the extent of their crimes and accept the fact that retribution is as imperative as it is inevitable. Or were you suggesting that the Serbs somehow feel that they deserve a payback? For what? The amount of effort and ammunition that they've expended exterminating anyone who didn't pass the ethnic purety test? As far as your contention that we will have to negotiate with Milosevic, I believe the time for that is long past. The only negotiating he should be allowed is whether or not he wants to wear a blindfold or a hood when the time comes. I bet you'd like to see the U.S. pay big $ to "rebuild Albania and leave Kosovo to the Serbs". Yeah buddy. That's the ticket. Go ahead and tell the Serbs "Sure. It's yours. After all, you earned it with your dedication to genocide and ethnic cleansing". The Serbs may have a long memory, in fact that's probably what has kept them trapped in the past instead of preparing for the future. But remember that you heard this here first. You are seeing the end to Serb control of Kosovo for all time.. They had the opportunity to retain at least nominal control of an area that supposedly means so much to them, even if they don't want to live there. That opportunity is now gone forever.. By their abuse of, and crimes against the indigenous residents of Kosovo, they've lost any legitimate claim to sovereignty over it. They spent the last 600 years sancitifying and blessing the soil of Kosovo because they lost a battle and a war there. Well I hope they're prepared for another 600 years of sanctifying and blessing, because they're about to lose their final battle on Kosovo soil. If, as you insinuate, the Serbs may feel compelled to take their greivances to the rest of the world in the form of shootings and terrorist bombs, then perhaps it's time for the world to start holding them accountable for their crimes, not just in the Balkans, but worldwide.. It's up to them for now, but time is running out. They've already far overextended whatever legitimate considerations they can expect as members of the international community. They're getting close to having their membership revoked.
