I agree with everything you said. I was trying to cut the argument down to some basic premises that we could agree on for the purposes of this discussion. But of course you are right. Nice not to be here alone.

I dated a young Berliner in 1951 who said she and every woman she knew in her neighborhood was raped at least once by the invading Soviet troops. She said one rapist claimed he was ordered to rape. She said he was a nice, apologetic country boy. She said she did not enjoy it, but did not hate him. She hoped that her 5 year old son was his.
