I agree.

Everyone knows that theoretically a stock split does absolutely nothing for the companies balance sheet, earning power, or chances of success going forward. But realtiy is another thing.

An analogy could be the recent MBA graduate; sure they have just acquired all the theoretical knowledge of how the world and markets should work, but when they enter the work place, they find a rather strange place. Seems as if some of those theories get thrown right out the window....

The boss sits 'em down and says, "let me tell you how things really work around here!".....<gg>
