> No, Mr. Papadopolous, I am not joking!
Obviously you have no sense of humor and take yourself way too seriously. Now breath deep..
> You suffer from a malady that most of us Europeans suffer, short memories! If it wasn't because of the United States and the American blood shed, we would have been still under the NAZi dominantion or at the best, soviet Satelites!! I don't care what he end-game, we were liberated by Americans and bed and housed by Marshall Plan! So, please don't spit in the plate you ate off, just say thank you America!
LOL... short memories huh? Ok let's go back to the beginning of civilization, if it wasn't for the Greeks democracy will not exist today....Come on, lighten up talking about short memories crap.
> Maybe your to young to remmber Umschlag Platz, and SS Einsatzgruppen at work, but some of us do!!!
The Serbs also remember how they resisted the Nazis and saved many pilots downed over their land...They do!!!
> You take yourself very seriously! Almost.
I don't think so...Care for a choochoobee?
> You can tell this to people who don't know Greece, and their capabilities!
Tell that to millions of female tourists who come to Greece every summer for some real lovin'<VBG>
> You have no industry to talk about, apart from Tourism, EC excluded your country from the monetry union becasue your finances are in disarry and corruption everywhere!
I think it's because of too many dock workers...
> You have no-national resources to talk about, apart from fish and a 3000 meters hole DEP drilled in Adendron (thanks to OMV in Austria !!) is pumping a few thousand barrels a day! And are you going to defeat Turks and Bulgaians by selling them Baklava, Kùftezakia, and Kala-paça at them!
Don't forget the feta cheese and ouzo.
>Be serious, and open your eyes. Turks maintain a well displined army, well repected by NATO and US.
Turkey got more people in their armed forces and are better armed thanks to the US help. But IMHO the Greek army is more disciplined because they are better educated, and in case of attack, Greece will defend itself and attackers will pay a very heavy price.
> They have loyally paid their dues to NATO, fought in Korea along side United States and are fully particiapting in Kosovo and in peace keeping in Bosnia!
Greece has paid their dues to Nato over the years. Greece fought in Korea too along the US and hell no, they will not participate in bombing a sovereign country just because the people do not want that. So live with it.
> I don't judge people by race and relgion, but by acts.
Yes, me too. Acts of bombing bridges, water plants, oil refineries, factories, civilian trains, tractors of civilians, etc all in the name of humanity...I judge these facts as criminal.
> I repect loyalty. Turks have covered themselves with honour when it comes to loyalty to NATO partnership. What you have done to thank NATO and US!!!!!!
Please don't speak about honour when the Turkish govt has done far much more damage to its Kurdish minority and have invaded another sovereign country...It's a laughable argument.
> Again, you should thank United States and Mr. Kissinger for having save you from a bloody war with Greece!
ROFL!!Thank US and Kissinger, you must really have a sense of humor afterall!
> If you would have sent toops to Cypress, that would have meant a war with Turkey and your beautiful Islands would have been lost, not mention Therakia and Makadonia!! Military Government in Athen orgainzed a coup agisnt Archibishop Macarios and deposed him so they could have taken over Cypress, and Turks re-acted!
First, it is Cyprus, Macedonia and what the heck is Therakia Second, IMHO you have a distorted view of what really happened back then...which is not surprising. Your assertion that there was an intention of the Greek military govt to take over Cyprus and the Turks reacting is totally Ridiculous at best, again IMHO.
> The truth is apart from being Christians, both greeks and Turks behaved with cruelty and meaness. You both committed mass murder and genocide. Maybe you should ask Milosovic to ask Turks to leave Cypress!!
I did not deny that both sides committed atrocities, why do you bring it up again? Next time I am at Slobodan's party at his multimillion dollar yacht at Belgrade I would ask him politely to ask the Turks to leave Cyprus LOL!
>I think United States, NATO, and Eurpean Union should take note of Greek lack of co-operation. It is your business to turn back to NATO alliance, after having received protection for 50 yrears, but it is our right to kick your ass out of NATO and EC and let you join your Serbian Friends!!
I have no doubt that there will be repercussions against Greece, I hope it is not too severe. I trust the current govt to do its best for the future of the country. I am sure most people do NOT want to have anything to do with this NEW Criminal Nato...EC is out of the question, this conflict is sure making difficult meeting the final criterion of the Euro requirements. > Don't think that Greeks are the only one who are upset about the bombing! I think evrybody is! When I here NATO talks about dead Serbian in terms of Colotral Damage it makes me sicK.
And you go along with it.
>But when I see that Milsovic and Serbian Natioanlist have killed a million and diplace 5 million peple in 10 years,
You got some big numbers there, you sure? Care to mention how many of those are Serbs?
> I say lets go and stop this s.o.b. He is as bad as Hitler, and his friends and sympathizers are no better!!
Comparing SM to Hitler is insulting to the Jews and every person with a brain. > Last but not least, shall we ask 50000 Jews born in Salonika if they ever forgave their next door Greek neighbours Greek for having turned them over to Gestapo in the fall of 1941, so they could sackage their property!
Again IMHO your "facts" are dangerously misleading. As a matter of fact, Greeks and Serbs saved many many Jews from the Nazis. I had the chance to grow up next door to a Jewish family, I love them like my own family.
> Young man, you should read more and be impartial when you you read.
DD is my middle name.
> Your father and your brother helicpoter pilot are sufficent sources to discuss history!
My brother was an Army officer, my buddy is now a helicopter pilot in the Greek Air Force. By suggesting that they are sufficient sources to discuss history is quite moronic don't you think? I just suggested a source you will never ever get a chance to hear just like I do with the news links I am posting here because I am tired of the BS Nato spin crap dominating the Western media.
Now have a nice day, may I suggest a nice Greek island for you for your next vacation?
