OT-Foreign Affairs Quarterly Winter issue, I believe, has a compelling article on the graying of the world's population, something brought to mind by perusing the statistics in the link. Japan, Europe (Italy, France, Germany, UK), US, in that order, will arrive or have arrived at zero or negative population growth, with developing world staying well in positive growth. Medicare to accelerate its posture as a very significant funding/social issue because of the inversion of the population triangle--working age to those aged whose programs are supported by "working class". Worth taking a look at. Regards. Liacos_samui

Assuming 20 % penetration in Developed regions of the world and 1% penetration in developing regions, Qcom would make $3.80/share for every $1 of average profit per CDMA device.

Of course I expect the penetration rates and profit per CDMA device to be much higher.
