JDN,

I must be stupid...I thought the preconceived year 2000 glitches made EMC a "must" stock to own. It seemed logical to me that companies would be falling all over themselves to backup everything, thus, buying the servers and more service. What am I missing here?

JDN,

i hope you are right about EMC being in the $200 range within the next few years. it's been such a steady performer, i don't know how people can stay away from the stock after its recent pullback. it's a good time to buy, and the investor relations department seems to be "defensive" after the downgrade last week, almost offended.

keep your fingers crossed for the earnings report. i'm sure they'll meet estimates, but i think some people may be expecting them to beat estimates by a few cents and will be keeping their eyes open for those key "forward looking" remarks.
