New to EMC...trying to do my dd on storage. Question: What is everyone's feelings on NTAP? Competitor? Is EMC going to get into network appliances?

Don't fully understand what are the underlying trends in this area...and if it makes sense to go with the gorilla EMC, or a potential gorialla, NTAP.

Or I could go with both. Do they compliment each other?

Any insights or links to resources would be helpfull. Thanks in advance.

I guess this means that you don't intend to ever move to Win2000? Sorry -- that's a cheap shot, but you've got to believe that 30 million lines of code will never be bug free. The question is just whether the remaining bug level is below your threshold of pain.
