Hi Jenna,

It is really a GREAT newsletter... I saw in IBD a full page ads
of A.B. Watley, Market Gems is mentioned there: clients of this
brokerage firm will get Market Gems weekly and daily newsletters.

I like the beautiful format of this NEW newsletter and have no problem in printing under Acrobat.

Thanks
kha

OT.....jenna, sorry about the post to you...i haven't figured out the post--reply--respond thing yet..........some more information on VISX. i talked to my friend over the week-end...some comments were that at this time VISX continues to be strong, and for the next six months he expects that to continue. VISX realizes a portion of its income from something called "pillar-point" fees...when the laser is used a fee is returned to VISX for its use...the current fee is $250..he expects that fee to be reduced to the level of $20-50 or possibly even be eliminated...and, of course, that would be one source of revenue to be reduced.....another source, a company, that i understand to be in Orlanda, is developing a portable, highly flexible, less expensive laser...much less costly, and with a pillar-point of $00.00 or in the $20-50 range...it is my understanding the company is called LASER-SIGHT.....if all works out...more competition with less access to the pillar-point fees...HOWEVER, VISX is supposedly taking a stance that any use of a laser on an eye for refractive surgery is a part of their domain and they are eligble for compensation for that procedure....that stance remains to be seen...NOW THE "KICKER"...the above is all composed of two guys talking and all may come to pass or none of it may develop....just take the above as information only(realizing it may be totally incorrect) and i will try to keep the thread informed.....no information at all on BEAM....and sorry for the length of this post

The new newsletter format via Adobe Acrobat is highly professional..in other words....great!!!

Just a little tidbit:

"Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, wither thou goest. Ecc.9:10
