no, david, YOU can only use the latter. larry and sridhar at least have the ability to learn from past experiences. we've been through this before and the dram price drops arrive before the nitwit investors figure it out and start selling.

DavidG: I don't think embedded will disappear from either the desktop or workstation markets anytime soon. Its in the low end PCs which are 50%, or so, of the DRAM market. IBM already has "first silicon (and copper)" and NSM, and others, are not far behind. "PC on a chip (actually a handful or so of chips)" will be here soon. Also, I agree that DRAM prices may well be a lagging/imperfect indicator but at least its public info.
