This is a flawed comparison .. Lets assume that 300,000 Serbs that were kicked-out of Kraina decide to return back where they lived for many generations..what would happen? This is not rhetorical, as I am sure Belgrade would insist on taking care of ALL refugees in final settlement..If not they move them to Kosovo

You leave a few key points out of your ridiculous "Mexican-American" analogy, my friend. The Mexican-Americans you describe have never terrorized, bombed, raped and murdered their non-Hispanic neighbors. The common thread, that we are all Americans first, has never been broken. Show me one Hispanic who has said, "I am a Mexican, or Guatemalan first, and an American second". Show me one! No where along the line have the Mexican-Americans ever suggested that the country of Mexico (or El Salvador, or whatever) could better serve their needs in Southern California. That they want the Mexican President to run Los Angeles for them. No where have they ever seriously suggested that there is a "they" who would overthrow the US Government in the US Southwest. Clearly, you sir, aren't even American, and your stretch is pathetic and ignorant, if not down right stupid. Go away.

Stephen O, The USA has the luxury of being the invaders but only the silently invaded. We have a history of invading, stealing land and commiting "ethnic cleansing" ourselves against the ethic American indian. The Spanish "conquistadors" had the same have a similar history. BTW, in Spanish, Conquistador means "Conquerer". I guess that says a lot doesn't it? Cortez hacked his way to the heart of the Aztecs, eventually assimilating an entire race of people as most Mexicans have Indian blood in them. One group of people envading another is a fact of world history. One group of people trying to rid themselves of another people is the legend of war. War can be violent. Invasion can be either violent or silent. Some countries tend to defend there borders more vigorously than others. The US is pretty soft on the border issue. Jim
