If AMD had had good yeilds last quarter they would have lowered cost of sale by about 10% on production costs and raised revenue by at least 10-20%. That would have helped. In fact AMD thinks the can make money with the same ASP this quarter. They just need to get yeilds up. It's *very* simple business math

I respectfully disagree. Intel carefully manages their pricing to make sure AMD doesn't make money. If AMD was on the verge of making money Intel would simply lower their prices, thereby forcing AMD to sell their products at a lower price. AMD is shooting at a moving target.
