Ellen, The front-end aspect of a site is only probably 20% of what is really going on as referenced by the end-user. Especially in a site that is heavily concentrated with e-commerce applications such as extensive database interaction, psychological and financial profiling, and intense new graphic technologies there is a lot of behind the scene design. I guess what I am saying is that this three-tier system probably involves more than just static pages. A more interactive profiled web site such as amazon.com. In reference to standards, it all depends on the technology that you are using. The sky is really the limit as to what you can do during development. Sometimes you are limited by the open-ended (compatability) architecture of the software you are using. I have been invested in TSIG for a month or so now and am looking for a nice push this week. OT, RDIM too should be coming out with a new corporate site this week that should really push the price up there. I recommend taking a look. In either case, this thread has provided some good insight in which I have been a silent listener. I am looking forward to the answered to the questions that you all have compiled and are waiting response from. Looking forward to next week, Scott
