It doesn't matter that the House voted down the impeachment article on the direct testimony before Wright, does it, Ish? And, of course, it doesn't matter that the House didn't choose to address the Broaddrick matter at all, at least in the conventional part of the proceedings. I'm sure your friend alleged attorney Allen could explain how your peculiar view of what should have happened fits in with the ever popular "rule of law" bleat.

Maybe if Wright had issued the decision earlier it would have been a lot harder for the Dems to justify giving Willie a walk on affirmative lying, perjury, obstruction and violation of his oath of office. Hard to say at this point. Although I personally believe Ms. Broaddrick, she simply waited too long to come forward. Rightfully, I think those allegations had no place in the impeachment debate. Besides, there was overwhelming evidence of impeachable offenses, if anyone had the balls to really follow through on the House impeachment in the Senate portion. Despite all the Clintonista carping, he lied affirmatively to the American people, lied under oath, perjured himself, deliberately misled the judge in the PJ case, abused his office, obstructed justice and as an added bonus, humiliated his wife and daughter. Removal was really a no-brainer. Who'd have thought the Senate democrats as a group lacked a complete set of testicles? In any event, I'm looking forward to his disbarment. JLA
