I'm also a little peeved by WH. I had my Roth transfered from a mutual fund company to my WH account. The money left the fund last Thurs and did not show up at WH until Sat. morning. I guess the money was in cyberlimbo for about 10 days. I really think WebBroken is not the only
thing that needs to be improved. Waterhouses' reputation has been tarnished with poor service for a while and they need to worry about service instead of more clients. Just my .02 Tom

<<A nice Hammer Candle pattern was formed last Friday.>>

Saw that, too. Nice.

**OT** I've heard lots of complaints about Waterhouse. Have you considered NDB? While it is perhaps not the very best discount brokerage, I've had great luck with NDB so far. 95% of my trades are executed within 10-30 seconds (using their touch-tone system, the web interface is slower). I monitor charts in real time, so I know the bid/ask at the time my order is placed, and it's rare that I'm not filled within the spread. I have never been unable to get through to NDB, even during fast markets.

One great feature about NDB is you can trade in and out of a stock multiple times in one day and only pay a single round-trip commission. During the infamous hoax episode, I traded in and out of PAIR four times (8 transactions), and my total commissions for all trades was $40.70, including SEC fees.

You might consider them if you get too frustrated with Waterhouse. --Doug
