Now here you are onto something. 70+% of the mutual funds under-performed the SP 500 this quarter. The probability that a given manager will under-perform the SP during a given quarter is nearly 1.

The current rotation is in part fueled by the need of fund managers to improve their performance.. But it is more likely than not that most managers will continue to under-perform the averages.
