We had no more business saving Kurds than we do now saving Kosovars. Shut it down and get out now. Arm the KLA with whatever they need and stand back. It's their fight, pure and simple. Arming the KLA would make for a fight that the Serbs could never win. Once we've armed the KLA, whether or not they win, would be their problem, which is exactly how it began in 1389. It is the lay of life that they kill each other until the desire to do so dissipates.

After its over, the KLA can give a lot of their Western weapons to their friend, Usama bin Laddin. Then we can stand back and watch a bunch of other folks who are determined to kill each other, do just that.

George, Do I detect a hint of cynicism there George? Ha! My African friends in east Africa even say that the French were actively involved in the Rwanda killings FWIW, I do not know myself..main thing though is to help the Albanians now with aid- get them back on their feet. Just picture yourself being turned out of your home with only the shirt on your back.....

In East Timor last week, Indonesian troops fired tear gas into a large Church and then had miltiamen with machetes stand at the door and hack the Melanesian Christians to death as they ran out of the Church- men., women, and children. Not a peep from anyone, anywhere in the US Government...

Hey! I kinda like MOB on a pullback. It still sells at a 4.5% discount to the exchange ratio with Exxon stock. Exxon broke to a new high on friday with decent volume...Exxon & Mobil shareholder votes are scheduled for early May and FTC approval following in July....Should close that gap and pick up a dividend payment too....
