Using the word "Research" in the same sentence with Forrester is an insult to all true researchers everywhere. These guys are paid pimps, and nothing more. Everyone knows it, but without Forrester, there wouldn't be any sales projection figures on 99% of all internet company business/IPO filings.

Why don't they just ask Mary Meeker?

For all I know, Morgan Stanley pays Mary Meek as much as Forrester is paid by all the internet companys.
