One reporter for the Bullmarket was attending a round-table discussion in Silicon Valley at the Center for Technology and the Individual CTI , one of the speakers was John Chambers of Cisco Systems(definetly a core holding). He had just returned from a trip to ASIA, and spoke with business leaders of Japan, Singapore,Korea, and CHINA. .....Think you'll find his forward looking statements pleasing.

>>>>>.This brings us to our time spent this week in Silicon
Valley at the Center for Technology and the Individual (CTI) Roundtable
which ended yesterday. The keynote speech was given by John Chambers of
Cisco Systems. John reaffirmed ALL my beliefs about this company and about
the growth of the Internet. I am not sure how to get this across to you in
this space, but if you have any new money that you want to be invested in
Internet related stocks, you have to start with Cisco. It is just a
requirement in our book. John had just returned from Asia, talking to the
business leaders of Japan, Korea, Singapore and China, among others. In the
question and answer session I asked him about growth numbers relating to
China and he said that every facet of the computer and Internet related
businesses in China is growing at triple digit rates and he feels that
within three years China will be the biggest customer in the world. He
looks for them to become one of the largest markets for his company.
Another statistic that John gave was that at the present time 84% of all
orders coming into Cisco are coming through the Internet. He is already on
record as saying that he has saved over $330 million of infrastructure costs
by implementing this strategy and he alluded to the fact that these cost
savings are even higher now.

Other speakers at the CTI Roundtable included Michael Milken, Raymond
Kurzweil – developer of the first OCR, Bran Ferren of Walt Disney – a true
genius, John Doerr of VC fame, Walter Mossberg of The Wall Street Journal,
and many, many more. I was able to have personal audiences with Jeff Bezo of Amazon........

****GCHC to 10 by the end of the week?! Oh my! Guess I will be able to buy that little beach-house on Maui, after all !!

good Joss, everyone , keep up all the good work,
