Hi Jan,

I had a chance to go back and look at the time and sales data for amzn on Friday. It does not look like there was any consistent buying. There was the big pre-open buy of 5 million shares. That had to be funds, of course. But the rest of the day was just day trading. You'd think if 5 million shares were removed from the float and tucked away in a fund, and then 10 million more traded, that the price would really zoom up. But it didn't. In fact it dropped below the open a couple of times during the day.

So what I conclude is there is not likely to be an explosive move up on Monday. If it gaps up on small volume, I think it will run down as usual after that. The only caution is if it makes a new high past 200. Then Olu and his crowd would jump on it, and cause a breakout. But I wouldn't buy into that.
