Thanks, Tim... do I need to worry about using a regular phone line for my internet connection?? DSL is not available in my area yet, probably not until June...

I think I had seen mentioned here before that DSL was better connection for ABW... will I be OK just having two ISP connections, on two regular phone lines, one for each PC?

Thanks for your help...

Kathy :)

Tim, my screen layout is top left Level II, top right Time and sales, bottom left market minder of 19 stocks I hold or am tracking, and bottom right the daily chart (5-minutes until 11:00 and then 10-minutes).I find this chart very valuable when deciding if I should take a position. My position minder is available as a hidden window which I pull up after a trade to make sure I got filled.

Of course, the level II, T+S and charts are linked, so when I key in a new stock, all three windows change. New users should also try reducing the font size to get more information in each window.

How do you set up a position minder to record your trades P+L for the day? After I sell, it disappears from my position minder.

Jim

I have a quick question or 2 about your setup, if you don't mind.

Do you basically have this one page, as described and change the level 2 and tos views as you focus on different stocks and are they linked?

Also, the real time profit and loss statement, is it cumulative? If not, is there a indication which shows your current daily status?

Finally, do you not show any graphs? I would think that if you didn't that would make you less prone to dataflow problems.

Thanks,
Jeff
