re tax selling:
I do think that there is tax selling of stocks to pay off tax bill and perhaps that will now stop. (I would have done that but didnt know until too late that I had a tax bill). Remember if you sell something at a loss that if you want the same stock back you have to wait 30 days if you want to take the loss the same year you sold.
Anyway, tomorrow will come soon enough and we will all know. Wonder how many others are in my shoes, near to a margin call.
