A lot of parts but they are not the best of class in any field. Lets see - #1 in PCs. #1 in servers. #1 in NT market share and installed base. #1 in Novell market share and installed base. #1 in SCO market share and installed base. #1 in electronic commerce with more than 90% of the ATM and bank transfer business. Largest share of ISP NT infrastructure business. Largest share of SAP business. Largest share of Oracle NT business. #1 in Telco back office. No one else even in the game on financial systems - CPQ (Tandem) has 106 of 112 stock market core systems, and all the ones anyone ever heard of. DELL is best of class in a lot of metrics but lets be realistic.
