Ok, so you assumed Travis Rankin is Dave Rankin and then you look up a Rankin on Big Yellow and come up with a Bruce Rankin so that makes him the man?? WOW!!! Is your name Columbo? I checked the local Aspen phone book. Hmmmm 7 Rankin's listed and one of them is a D. Oh Boy, I think we are on to something.

I appreciate your ability to track this thing. If you're right it will be an interesting week. Names are intriguing however. There was a post that I received last month from someone who had the same name and 'disposition' of an individual I had spoken with in California. That it the same name. Wrong person, oh well. Didn't cost me anything, made me smile. I think I would rather err on Bill's side right now and say I'm not sure about the name in your (very good analysis). The associated web sites may still be intriguing, though I'm not sure once the name connection is 'neutralized' Either way, I would love your opinion about the 'streaming video business'. Good luck Monday, right now I'm looking for an entry point. ynot :)

RE: Travis D. Rankin Champolion, congratulations, I think you've identified the outside technician in charge of administering and/or maintaining USAB's web site. My guess is that he has a day job at the chemical company. If so that's interesting, but can you enlighten me on why you think it's necessarily sinister? From NSOL's web site re: "Administrative Contact, Technical Contact, Zone Contact": "This form is used to register a person or role who will serve as a contact person for any domain name."
