So this is how CPQ gets headlines these days. First, lying to the world about how the PC industry sucks, causing its earnings to suffer....and now, admitting that it's really their own mismanagement. Why would the heads quit if it were only an industry slowdown? my 2 cent.

For heaven's sake....the board of directors picked EP and Rosen was the big dog on the board of directors. Looks like the board was a sleep at the wheel of the Titanic. As for Rose, his recent performance at the MSFT-DOJ trial hardly showed him in a favorable light. Rose reminds me of some executives who have made it to the top by their attention to suckup politics rather than by insight, skill and intrinsic merit. I do not see any evidence of vision in the guy much less character.
