Everybody remember what lit the match, that lit the fuse that detonated the bomb under the tech stocks. Good old CPQ and their statements that the PC industry was in trouble. The news that Pfeiffer and Mason are leaving is excellent. The guys who own PC stocks should be dancing. This may prove to be good for tech stocks in general, hopefully AOL included, as we move into earnings. It could start the flow of money this way again. The headline below will help too. CPQ is finally taking some responsibility for their lousy management. The techs needed a jumpstart and this may be it.
