Have you also noticed that the harder the pullback, the stronger the comeback.

Although it goes against my "trader instincts", with stocks like AOL and YHOO, it's better to just stick them away somewhere and go fret over something with questionable long term potential.

I seriously doubt we'll see much more pullback in price, but it doesn't really matter. Earnings est are .09, conservative street est are .11, and go as high as .15. Last quarter est were .07, and they did .09. We have every reason to believe this quarter will surpass last quarter, which will automatically beat estimates. Anything better than .11 would beat baseline whisper numbers and be seen as excellent.

There ain't nothing in sight to decrease the forward earnings momentum. More users, more advertising revenue. Not to mention interesting moves into network appliances and AOL's own "WebTV".

Based on past performance, AOL should come in .12-.14, and split.
