I agree.....
The deal with etailers is that 80% will fail......You can't be a web site......Doesn't work...Must be a business with an actual business model...AMZN and EBAY with their names and market caps will eventually buy comp.....for a while......Please do not neglect the power of mergers and Aq's in internets....News will come in waves this summer....(Look at BCST/YHOO) AOL/NTSCAPE

That's why I developed a "regret minimization strategy", I buy not only eBay, I also buy ATHM, AOL, YHOO and AMZN. I only allocate a small portion of my money in each, but my fishing net is big. I am not sure which company will dominate in 2010. But I am pretty sure that I've caught the fish in my net already. If only one company becomes a super winner, it'll probably enough to make me rich assuming the rest of them go to ashes. What if I caught two big fishes?

Again, why worry who will win? Let them fight out!
