Yes, and would contradict the position that so many in this discussion began with, which was that rape was non sexual. That was a blanket statement made here by a number of people. It did not allow for those cases in which sex was by far, or by less far, in the largest proportion.

I would ask if you could see your way clear to adding the word 'all' to your proposed summary statement, so it will be in complete and total agreement with my position. It would then read:

Would it be fair to say that all rape involves sex, violence, and
domination in varying proportions, depending on the case?


I'm sure you won't object, since you did say "Of course all rape has a sexual component, otherwise we wouldn't call it rape, we'd call it assault. "

I wonder if you don't credit that the position taken by many here was that rape was not a sexual act for the rapist.
