It's amazing how tempered expectations

Michael,

It's amazing how tempered expectations have become on this board and amongst AXC holders I know. Sure there's talk of $40-60 and even $100plus, but most of you--if I'm reading you right--in your heart of hearts feel that AXC will have another "pop" but then resume its past disappointing ways, as though there were some gravitational force acting to subdue any further price rise. I really don't mind that many of you seem to have a hidden fear that the price advance could evaporate at any moment. I would, however, become concerned if you all uniformly felt that a $20 price tag was as good as done by 6 months. Your Specialist knows exactly how you feel, and he will most certainly accommodate you. So, look for an advance over several days taking us into the "magic" 10-11 territory, to be followed by an orchestrated pull-back. Most of you will watch this happen and bail as it drops back to the $8 area, seeing the contrived wall of "resistence," pointed out by poster botswolak. When will this happen? I wish I could tell you; but I'm sure it will be sooner than most of you think (as early as next week, of by mid-May on the outside, I'd guess). Many on the SI board also seem to think we are due for a quiet period or "consolidation" after a flurry of news releases. I think this is also incorrect. Much of this news could have been easily postponed until next week at the NAB in Vegas. No, a much more plausible explanation is that the news reports we have seen thus are mere tidbits; tasty hors d'oeuvres prior to the elegant main course. I think we could look forward to more news and maybe even an exciting surprise. I would urge all of you to relax, savor the meal, and stay for dessert, cordials, and a few cigars. It would be a shame to eat, bolt, and run. Sure, you could say you had a great meal, but you'll get serious indigestion when you learn that your guest pass would be good for years to come. Once this affair gets rocking, you'll come to realize how very cheap the admission price actually was.

Best O'Luck!

Tom

Michael, I have noticed over the years that overhead resistance often slows down a stock enough to create an entrance point. I don't own any of axc but am doing my dd like crazy as the 5 1/2 to 6 area seems a likely entrance point.
